Description
Depending on the design specifications, environmental factors, and water salinity, sacrificial bracelet anodes are commonly made of either a zinc alloy or an aluminum alloy.
Corroco’s Aluminium sacrifice bracelet anodes are economical and dependable for cathodic protection of submerged pipelines. The anti-corrosion coating on these pipelines typically includes a hefty concrete mix for negative buoyancy.
The cathodic protection system design specifies where bracelet anodes should be put. These anodes are electrically connected to the pipeline using special copper bonding cables.
The anti-corrosion coating is the pipeline's primary line of defense against rust. The bracelet anodes are intended to safeguard the pipeline in any areas where gaps, pits, or other coating defects could develop during installation or during the course of the pipeline's operational life.
