Description
Casing External Anode is to adopt the principle of the sacrificial anode cathodic protection, the more negative anode metal and casing consist of corrosion galvanic cell. made the electron transfer on the anode metal to the protected casing, then whole protected casing in a more negative or under the same potential.
The metal alloy anode is corroded,and the casing does not corrode to achieve the purpose of cathodic protection.
The Casing External Magnesium anode is mainly used for anticorrosion of buried pipelines, onshore platforms, huge boilers and steel structures.
